Over
the weekend of August 18 - 20 a very enjoyable reunion of Sealink staff, both
ashore and afloat, was held as part of the Holyhead Maritime Festival. Organised
through the hard work and dedication of the officers and staff of the Holyhead
Maritime Museum, including John Cave, John Hodgkinson and Ann Kennedy, the event
was a great success!
I
was delighted to 'divert' from a trip to Japan from Australia for the weekend
and felt privileged to speak at the Friday evening event where I presented a run
through of each car ferry to service the Holyhead - Dun Laoghaire service since
1965.
