A brief visitor to the Holyhead - Dun Laoghaire service during spring 1996 was the chartered Newhaven - Dieppe ferry Stena Londoner. Fresh from Fishguard where she had provided overhaul relief for the Stena Felicity, the ship was pressed into service at Holyhead following delays with the entry into service of the HSS Stena Explorer and in so doing, became the last ship to carry the Sealink brand on the Irish Sea.
